Volunteers are essential in every area of RDAV life and we always need more. There are a variety of tasks from leading riders to feeding horses to fundraising and we provide the training and support you need. Meet new people, develop new skills, feel connected to your community, and give your time to your local RDAV centre so more people with disability can enjoy the therapy and fun of horses.
All our coaches are trained and accredited under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (administered by Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia) to facilitate sessions at our Centres. Sessions simply cannot be run without a qualified RDAA coach. Become a coach and take great delight in watching participants achieve their health and social goals and watch their self confidence bloom.
We offer a range of programs that enable participants to form a special bond with a horse that can have the power to change their demeanour, to have a positive long-term impact on confidence levels, communication skills, enjoyment and well-being.
Join RDAV and experience the joy of working with a horse and form new and positive memories and joyful experiences.
We see every day the benefit of being part of our program, become a supporter or sponsor and join our amazing community to enrich the lives of people living with disability. Your generosity will directly fund our programs, contribute to the welfare of our horses, maintain our centres, and will ultimately allow more people to participate in our programs.
