We rely on hundreds of passionate volunteers
Volunteers are the lifeblood of RDA Victoria. From coaching to manning the sausage sizzle, people support RDA in many different ways – and we always need more. Whatever skills you can bring, giving your time to your local RDA centre will mean that more people with a disability can enjoy the therapy and fun of horses.
RDA is a diverse organisation, and we are at our best when we bring together people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities
As a valued volunteer, you’ll find a range of roles and tasks that may suit you and your skills.
Volunteering with RDA should be rewarding and fulfilling – and we want you to benefit from your time with us.
We provide all the training and support which means it’s not just our participants who get the opportunity to learn new skills.
RDA has clear and robust evidence to show that our volunteers feel more useful and better about themselves. They are more sociable and physically active. They have learnt new skills and gained more confidence.
